"Each of us will have our own Fridays--those days when the universe itself seems shattered and the shards of our world lie littered about us in pieces. We all will experience those broken times when it seems we can never be put together again. We will all have our Fridays...But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death--Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow, Sunday will come...No matter our desperation, no matter our grief, Sunday will come. In this life or the next, Sunday will come."
It's funny but sometimes you can hear a song that expresses everything you are feeling. I found one and I just LOVE it! This song just expresses the feelings of my heart so much better than I could ever write. Listening to it is wonderful too, it's on YouTube if you want to hear it, it's called "I Know He Lives" by April Meservy
I Know He Lives
I ache, I cry, my spirit’s fading, I’m buried alive.
I fail, I fall, just when I fear I’m losing it all,
I reach the edge of what I know, He reaches out and I let go.
He is my light, he is my strength
He is the anchor of the hope that I can truly change.
He magnifies what I can give
With every step and every breath I’ll worship him.
He is the only way, and I know he lives.
I wish, I dream, I hope for things that I can’t see
I try, I pray, finding my way on this test of faith.
And when my best is not enough, He reaches down and lifts me up.
He is my light, he is my strength
He is the anchor of the hope that I can truly change.
He magnifies what I can give
With every step and every breath I’ll worship him.
He is the only way, and I know he lives.
Every broken heart, every fear I face
When I’m in my own Gethsemane he knows that place.
Every lonely hour, ever tear that falls
Every weakness and temptation he has felt it all.
He is my light, he is my strength
He is the anchor of the hope that I can truly change
